Star in your own cartoon caper
If you're a fan of cartoon mice like Jerry or Speedy Gonzalez, then you're going to love CatchaMouse.
This free iPhone game charges you with the task of trapping a pesky little mouse and preventing him from escaping down one of the holes. In order to do this you must strategically place mousetraps to block him in.
The game screen in CatchaMouse is divided into blocks, and you tap a block to set a trap on it. After you've done this, the mouse will move one block. Then you put another trap, then the mouse moves, and so on and so forth. You need to make sure you cut off the mouse's exit holes before he has the chance to go through them.
Graphically, CatchaMouse is excellent, and it really captures the feel of those old cartoons. The sound is awesome too with some hilarious sound effects and canned laughter every time the mouse escapes down a hole.
CatchaMouse is an enjoyable romp, and a game which can get pretty addictive. One thing that annoyed me a bit though, is that the blocks are so small it's easy to tap the wrong one by mistake. Perhaps the game has actually been designed for mice to play!
If you're in need of a good chuckle then CatchaMouse is a great choice.
